Saving a video is really easy too: Just click the drop down menu on the top right-hand corner of any video, and select "save video" to add it to your Saved Directory site (that location whatever you save money on Facebook goes to). You will find all your saved videos there, under "videos", certainly.
The videos are NOT downloaded to your phone so they won't utilize any of that valuable storage space on your device-- instead they are offered for you to watch offline, through your Facebook app.
Facebook has not made any official announcement about this new feature. The Next Web reported that it was originally aimed to "arrive entirely in India as part of Facebook's initiative to battle bad internet connection."
