Delete A Facebook Message
To erase individual messages, you have to open each message initially. Do this by clicking on the Actions button and select Delete Messages.
You will see all your messages with this friend, with checkboxes on the side of each message. Select the messages you desire to erase by 'checking' the box next to the message, or just click on the Delete all button.

To take control of your Facebook messages, go to the Facebook Quick Erase Messages extension page with your Chrome internet browser and click the Contribute to Chrome button to set up.
As soon as installed, the extension is activated automatically. Now to delete your Facebook messages with only one click without needing to open the specific conversation pages open your Facebook Message page. You will see 2 additional buttons, one at the top bar and another highlighted in red. Click these buttons to completely erase your messages and conversations.
Ways To Delete Personal Messages on Facebook.
Action 1. Go to the Facebook homepage and click the "Messages" tab in the left column of the screen. Alternatively, click on the "Messages" icon in the upper left-hand corner of any Facebook screen-- the icon is the image of two square chat bubbles.
Action 2. Find the the message you wish to erase. Messages are noted in chronological order, with the newest message at the top. Utilize the right-facing arrow at the top of the screen to browse to pages with older messages.
Action 3. Check package right away to the left of a message.
Action 4. Select the "Delete" icon in the "Messages" toolbar, situated simply above the message list.
