Deleted Messages Facebook
To delete private messages, you need to open each message initially. Do this by clicking the Actions button and select Erase Messages.
You will see all your messages with this buddy, with checkboxes on the side of each message. Select the messages you wish to delete by 'checking' the box next to the message, or just click the Erase all button.

To take control of your Facebook messages, go to the Facebook Fast Delete Messages extension page with your Chrome browser and click the Add to Chrome button to set up.
As soon as set up, the extension is activated immediately. Now to erase your Facebook messages with only one click without needing to open the specific conversation pages open your Facebook Message page. You will see 2 extra buttons, one on top bar and another highlighted in red. Click these buttons to permanently erase your messages and discussions.
How to Delete Private Messages on Facebook.
Action 1. Go to the Facebook homepage and click the "Messages" tab in the left column of the screen. Alternatively, click on the "Messages" icon in the upper left-hand corner of any Facebook screen-- the icon is the image of two square chat bubbles.
Action 2. Find the the message you wish to delete. Messages are noted in sequential order, with the most recent message at the top. Use the right-facing arrow at the top of the screen to browse to pages with older messages.
Action 3. Examine the box immediately to the left of a message.
Action 4. Select the "Delete" icon in the "Messages" toolbar, situated just above the message list.
