Altering your Facebook password just takes a few seconds, so it's an excellent idea to alter it whenever you suspect somebody might have accessed your computer system, or regularly every few months.
If you discover infections or malware on your computer system, alter your Facebook password. If others have administrative access to your business page, remind them to keep their passwords protect too.
Change Password On Facebook
Check in to your Facebook account. Go to Settings > General > Edit, located beside Password.
Enter your present password followed by the one you wish to be your new one. Click Save Changes to apply your edits:
Tips
Use a strong password for your Facebook account. Facebook advises a combination of a minimum of six characters consisting of numbers, letters and punctuation marks.
If you can't remember your password, click the "Forgot Your Password" link on the Facebook login screen. Follow the onscreen directions to determine your account and reset your password.
Caution
Your Facebook password is not the only point of entry for possible hackers. Anybody with access to the e-mail address you use to log in to Facebook can reset your password and take control of your Facebook account. Facebook advises changing your email account password and using different passwords for various accounts.
