Facebook Group Names
Fortunately the group name isn't in that small category of permanent names, and it's not completely apparent how to change it, but it can be done.

To begin, go to your group page on Facebook however don't click "Edit Settings" since it ain't exactly what you want. Rather look down the best side of the page. About a 3rd of the way down you'll see these choices:.
Click "Edit Group" and you'll see a lots of various alternatives that you can modify, most importantly the group name:.
Let's focus a bit on that so you can see exactly what it appears like:.
To change your Facebook group name, simply click in the text box that has the current name and usage ERASE, arrows and comparable to change the name to one that's better suited. For this demonstration, I altered the group name from "Front Variety Blogger Meetup: The Facebook Group" to simply "Front Variety Blogger Meetup".
When you've set it appropriately, click on "Conserve" at the bottom of the window and.
Done. Not too hard once you know where to click.
Confusingly, however, the page that includes the alert of the modification being accepted still has the old name showed:.
No worries. That's just a caching problem: click "Back to Group" and we see the proper name:.
Now we're done and it's validated.
I must discuss that everybody in the group will see an upgrade notice that the name has been altered, however I can't think of that's an issue:.
