Why would your "buddy" do this to you? Well, are they ACTUALLY your friend? Are you SURE? Do they only "sorta" like you? Is it a household member? Yeah, there are any number of factors why someone would put you on the restricted list. I'm sure you're questioning now why they left you as a buddy. Well, opportunities are they figured you're less likely to notice being put on the limited list than being unfriended entirely. Or possibly they desire to sleuth on you.
If it really troubles you, ask the individual directly. If they are actually your friend it wont be such a big deal and being truthful and direct is always a good plan when it pertains to talking to your pals.
Wish to include someone to your limited list? Well, from the menu on the left sidebar go down to the bottom where it says Lists. There might be list options, click on the word Lists. From there you'll go to the lists menu, click on the Limited list and from that page you can include individuals.
The box on the ideal side of the screen is where you key in a pal's name and include them to the list. You can add as many individuals as you desire, they wont get any type of alert. Then, if you still have the old profile there's a button at the leading right that states "Consider as ..." if you click the button you'll get an alternative to type in any good friend's name. Just key in the pal you've put on the restricted list.
If you've got the brand-new Timeline it's a bit harder to find. It's still on the right, under your cover image, under the drop down where the gear lies. Same thing from there, type the pal's name in package and you'll be able to see exactly what they have access to. This works for ANY pal by the method. If you're worried about what a specific pal can see this is an excellent way to examine it out.
Keep in mind, if you've got your default setting for posts to Public everybody will see it ... everyone on the internet who can discover your profile. So if this concerns you, use that little fall next to the Post button when publishing an update. You can likewise publish things to individuals ONLY on a particular list.
