Yeah, there are any variety of factors why somebody would put you on the limited list. I make certain you're questioning now why they left you as a pal. Well, opportunities are they figured you're less most likely to observe being placed on the restricted list than being unfriended completely. Or maybe they wish to snoop on you.

The box on the right side of the screen is where you key in a buddy's name and add them to the list. You can include as numerous individuals as you desire, they wont get any sort of notice. And opportunities are, they wont notice unless they just have like 10 good friends overall and do not follow any pages or register for any popular individuals's feeds.
If you're actually paranoid about exactly what they can see, you can see your profile as that friend and after that you'll see exactly what they see. Depending upon whether or not you've got the new timeline function there are 2 methods to do this. Both start by going to your profile page. Then, if you still have the old profile there's a button on top right that states "Deem ..." if you click the button you'll get an alternative to type in any buddy's name. Simply enter the good friend you've placed on the restricted list.
If you've got the new Timeline it's a little bit more difficult to discover. It's still on the right, under your cover image, under the drop down where the equipment lies. Very same thing from there, type the friend's name in package and you'll have the ability to see what they have access to. This works for ANY good friend by the method. If you're worried about what a specific pal can see this is a great way to examine it out.
Keep in mind, if you have actually got your default setting for posts to Public everybody will see it ... everybody on the internet who can find your profile. So if this issues you, use that little fall beside the Post button when publishing an update. You can also publish things to people JUST on a particular list. So if you're posting something controversial and do not want to upset Grandmother or begin a fight with your Tea Party friends, make a list for only the individuals who will appreciate those things.
