Facebook Restricted List - I enjoy Google Analtyics. It informs me a lot stuff. Generally, it tells me a great deal of individuals are discovering my blog site due to the fact that they are stressed that they're on their Facebook friend's restricted list. How do you know if a good friend has included you to their limited list? Well, you go to their profile page and you either see no wall posts at all or just wall posts that have the little world icon. If it's got the world icon that means anyone in all of the web who comes to that person's profile page will be able to see it too.

Why would your "buddy" do this to you? Well, are they ACTUALLY your good friend? Are you SURE? Do they just "sorta" like you? Is it a relative? Yeah, there are any variety of reasons someone would put you on the restricted list. I make sure you're wondering now why they left you as a friend. Well, possibilities are they figured you're less likely to see being put on the limited list than being unfriended totally. Or possibly they desire to snoop on you.

If it truly bothers you, ask the individual directly. If they are really your pal it wont be such a huge deal and being truthful and direct is constantly a good plan when it comes to talking with your good friends.

Desire to add somebody to your restricted list? Well, from the menu on the left sidebar decrease to the bottom where it says Lists. There may be list alternatives, click the word Lists. (in the image to the right I've put a red box around where it can be discovered). From there you'll go to the lists menu, click on the Restricted list and from that page you can add individuals.

The box on the ideal side of the screen is where you type in a pal's name and include them to the list. You can add as many individuals as you want, they wont get any sort of notice. And possibilities are, they wont notice unless they just have like 10 buddies overall and do not follow any pages or register for any well-known individuals's feeds.

If you're actually paranoid about exactly what they can see, you can see your profile as that good friend and then you'll see exactly what they see. Depending upon whether or not you've got the new timeline feature there are 2 ways to do this. Both start by going to your profile page. Then, if you still have the old profile there's a button on top right that says "Deem ..." if you click the button you'll get an alternative to enter any friend's name. Just enter the good friend you've placed on the restricted list.

If you have actually got the new Timeline it's a bit harder to discover. It's still on the right, under your cover image, under the drop down where the equipment is situated. Same thing from there, type the friend's name in package and you'll have the ability to see exactly what they have access to. This works for ANY pal by the way. If you're worried about what a particular pal can see this is a good method to inspect it out.

Bear in mind, if you've got your default setting for posts to Public everyone will see it ... everybody on the internet who can discover your profile. So if this concerns you, use that little drop down beside the Post button when posting an upgrade. You can also post things to individuals JUST on a specific list. So if you're posting something questionable and do not want to upset Grandmother or begin a fight with your Tea Party pals, make a list for only individuals who will appreciate those things.
