Secret Group Facebook - Secret Facebook Groups are one of the covert gems of the platform that a lot of organisations do not know about. A Secret group is an easy for companies to produce and manage small group interactions in an entirely private setting.

Anybody with a Facebook account is able to establish and use a Secret Group. This is not exclusive or readily available through Business Pages, but is a terrific resource especially for small companies that do not use tools like Salesforce, Yammer, or BaseCamp for callaboration, collaborating schedules, and sharing marketing concepts.

There are 3 kinds of Secret Groups:

  • Public: anyone can see your Group and find it in search

  • Closed: anybody can see your group, however only members can see and make posts

  • Secret: only members can see and make posts



Trick Group Security.

  • Secret Groups are not indexed by Google.

  • If someone has the URL to your Trick Group they can not access without being welcomed.

  • If your Trick Group URL is published in another Secret Group, the URL is still not noticeable or available.


Keep in mind: You will receive alerts to your individual News Feed, however just you will have the ability to see them, not your Buddies.

Producing a Secret Group.

You should first have an individual Facebook account to produce a Trick Group:.

  • Go to http://facebook.com/groups.

  • Click on Develop Group.

  • Name your Group and pick your icon from the drop down menu.

  • Add members to your Secret Group (you must be buddies with them to contribute to the group); add them to the member box.

  • If you wish to include members who are not your pals, develop the Group as 'Closed' first, then alter the Group setting to Secret.

  • Select your Privacy Setting and click Create.

Remember your Group MUST be Closed if you are going to include members you are not buddies with.

Select your Trick Group icon (this is optional).

Remember to change your Group Setting from 'Closed" to "Secret" if you have invited members that you are not buddies with in the previous step.

Prior to you start using your new Trick Group we would suggest that you inspect your Settings. The Settings icon lies on the right side of your brand-new feed under the photos.

Your Trick Group is now prepared for personal usage with your members. Start sharing photos, email addresses, and collaborating on projects.
