Step 1. Click your name in the upper right corner of the Facebook page to visit your Timeline page.

Step 2. Select the Photos tab and then click Albums to see all your Facebook image albums. The number of pictures in an album is shown below the name of the album.

Step 3. Click among the albums to open it.

Step 4. Click the gear icon and select Delete Album from the drop-down menu to erase the entire album. Deleting an album deletes all its photos completely; deleted albums can not be recovered. Verify by clicking the Erase Album button or abort by clicking Cancel.

Changing the Audience or Erasing Specific Pictures.

Step 5. Open your Facebook Timeline page, click the Photos tab then click Albums to see your photo albums.

Step 6. Click the Audience Selector button to the right of the name of the album you wish to modify and pick the audience. To make the whole album public, select Public. To avoid others from viewing your album, choose Only Me. Personalize the audience-- to allow particular individuals to view the album, while rejecting others the right to see your pictures-- by picking Customized.

Step 7. You cannot alter the audience for the Profile Pictures album, but you can change the audience for specific photos or erase them from Facebook. Click the Profile Pictures album to open it.

Step 8. Click the pencil icon, choose Delete This Picture and verify to delete the image from Facebook. You can't recuperate erased images.

Step 9. To prevent deleting the photo, change its audience. Click the picture you want to edit to open it.

Step 10. Click the Audience Selector button and select an audience for your image. To share your picture with everyone, choose Public. Select Pals to allow only your buddies to see the image. Make the photo personal by clicking Only Me. To customize the audience-- to allow or reject specific people-- click Custom.
