Technique 1 Erasing a Discuss Mobile
1. Open Facebook. It's a blue app with a white "f" on it. If you're signed into Facebook, the app will open to your News Feed.
- If you aren't currently signed into Facebook, enter your e-mail address and password and tap Check in.
2. Tap ☰. This choice remains in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).
- If you instead wish to delete a remark you left on someone else's post, type that person's name into the search bar at the top of the screen and then tap their name.
3. Tap your name. It should be at the top of the menu. Tapping it will take you to your profile page.
- Skip this step if you're browsing to another person's post.
4. Discover a remark you want to erase. You may require to scroll down to do so.
5. Open the comment. On posts where there is just one comment, you can do this by tapping the comment below the post; otherwise, you'll tap the [Number] remarks connect below the post and after that tap the comment.
- On Android, you'll tap and hold the comment you want to erase.
6. Tap Delete. It's near the bottom of the screen.
- You can not erase other individuals's remarks if they weren't made on your content, but you can tap Conceal to prevent yourself from seeing them.
7. Tap Delete when triggered. Doing so will remove the comment in question from the post.
Technique 2 Deleting a Post on Mobile
1. Open Facebook. This app is dark-blue with a white "f" on it. If you're signed into Facebook, the app will open to your News Feed.
- If you aren't currently signed into Facebook, enter your e-mail address and password and tap Sign in.

Tap ☰. It remains in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).
- If you wish to get rid of a post you made on someone else's page, rather type their name into the search bar at the top of the screen and then tap their name.
3. Tap your name. This option is at the top of the menu. Tapping it will take you to your profile page.
4. Scroll down to a post you wish to erase. You can erase any post that you or anybody else posted directly to you profile page.
- You cannot delete posts from other individuals where you are tagged, but you can remove them from your page.
5. Tap ... It's in the top-right corner of a post.
6. Tap Erase. You'll see this option near the bottom of the screen.
If you're removing your name from a tagged post, you'll instead tap Remove tag, then tap OK.
7. Tap Delete Post when triggered. Doing so will get rid of the post from your profile. Any likes, remarks, or other media connected with the post will also be eliminated.
Technique 3 Deleting a Post on Desktop
1. Go to the Facebook webpage. It's located at https://www.facebook.com/. If you're currently logged into Facebook, doing so will open your News Feed.
- If you aren't logged into Facebook, first enter your email address (or contact number) into the top-right corner of the screen and click Log In.
2. Click your name tab. This choice is to the right of the search bar at the top of the Facebook page.
- If you wish to erase a post you made on someone else's wall, you'll instead type their name into the search bar then click their name when it appears.
3. Find a post you want to erase. You may have to scroll down to find the post in concern.
- You can't delete posts from other individuals in which you are tagged, but you can remove them from your page.
4. Click ˅. You'll see this in the top-right corner of the post's area.
5. Click Delete. It's towards the bottom of the drop-down menu.
If you're removing your name from somebody else's post, click Eliminate Tag here, then click OK.
6. Click Erase Post when prompted. This will eliminate the post and any involved material from the page.
