Facebook Delete Messages
To erase private messages, you need to open each message initially. Do this by clicking the Actions button and select Delete Messages.
You will see all your messages with this friend, with checkboxes on the side of each message. Select the messages you wish to erase by 'examining' the box beside the message, or merely click on the Delete all button.

To take control of your Facebook messages, go to the Facebook Quick Delete Messages extension page with your Chrome web browser and click the Include to Chrome button to install.
As soon as installed, the extension is activated automatically. Now to delete your Facebook messages with only one click without needing to open the specific conversation pages open your Facebook Message page. You will see 2 additional buttons, one at the top bar and another highlighted in red. Click these buttons to permanently delete your messages and conversations.
Ways To Delete Personal Messages on Facebook.
Action 1. Go to the Facebook homepage and click the "Messages" tab in the left column of the screen. Alternatively, click on the "Messages" icon in the upper left-hand corner of any Facebook screen-- the icon is the image of 2 square chat bubbles.
Action 2. Locate the the message you wish to delete. Messages are noted in sequential order, with the newest message at the top. Use the right-facing arrow at the top of the screen to navigate to pages with older messages.
Action 3. Inspect package instantly to the left of a message.
Action 4. Select the "Delete" icon in the "Messages" toolbar, situated just above the message list.
