Altering your Facebook password only takes a couple of seconds, so it's a great idea to change it whenever you think somebody might have accessed your computer, or consistently every few months.

How Do You Change Your Facebook Password
Check in to your Facebook account. Go to Settings > General > Edit, located beside Password.
Enter your present password followed by the one you want to be your brand-new one. Click Save Changes to use your edits:

Use a strong password for your Facebook account. Facebook advises a mix of a minimum of 6 characters including numbers, letters and punctuation marks.
