Facebook Group Names
Luckily the group name isn't because little classification of permanent names, and it's not entirely obvious ways to alter it, but it can be done.

To start, go to your group page on Facebook but do not click on "Edit Settings" because it ain't exactly what you desire. Instead look down the right side of the page. About a 3rd of the way down you'll see these options:.
Click on "Edit Group" and you'll see a lots of different options that you can customize, most significantly the group name:.
Let's focus a bit on that so you can see exactly what it appears like:.
To change your Facebook group name, simply click in the text box that has the existing name and usage DELETE, arrows and just like change the name to one that's more proper. For this presentation, I changed the group name from "Front Variety Blogger Meetup: The Facebook Group" to simply "Front Variety Blogger Meetup".
When you have actually set it correctly, click on "Save" at the bottom of the window and.
Done. Not too difficult once you understand where to click.
Confusingly, however, the page that includes the notification of the modification being accepted still has the old name displayed:.
No concerns. That's just a caching issue: click "Back to Group" and we see the :.
Now we're done and it's validated.
I need to point out that everybody in the group will see an upgrade alert that the name has actually been changed, but I cannot envision that's an issue:.
