Facebook Hide Photos

Facebook Hide Photos: It seems like there's an easy option to people aggravatingly tagging you in Facebook pictures that you either hate or don't want your boss/girlfriend/boyfriend/ mama to see: simply hide them from your timeline, or better yet, do not even approve them.

But, as Company Insider explains, it's incredibly easy for people to still see those photos using the search box.

If you do a Facebook look for an individual's name with "Photos of" in front of it, you'll see every photo they're tagged in.

Even if they're not your Facebook pal.

Even if they have actually selected "hide from timeline" on the photo.

Even if the individual never ever authorized the image.

Sneak away, I guess.

So how do you protect your very own photos from said climbers? There's a few choices. You can manually un-tag yourself from all the photos you're tagged in each time. Or, you can alter your privacy settings.

Just go to settings, then "timeline and tagging," then discover the choice "When you're tagged in a post, who do you wish to contribute to the audience?" and choose "only me."
