Technique 1 Erasing a Discuss Mobile

1. Open Facebook. It's a blue app with a white "f" on it. If you're signed into Facebook, the app will open to your News Feed.

- If you aren't currently signed into Facebook, enter your email address and password and tap Indication in.

2. Tap ☰. This alternative is in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).

Technique 2 Deleting a Post on Mobile

1. Open Facebook. This app is dark-blue with a white "f" on it. If you're signed into Facebook, the app will open to your News Feed.

- If you aren't already signed into Facebook, enter your e-mail address and password and tap Check in.

Tap ☰. It remains in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).

- If you wish to remove a post you made on somebody else's page, instead type their name into the search bar at the top of the screen then tap their name.

3. Tap your name. This choice is at the top of the menu. Tapping it will take you to your profile page.

4. Scroll down to a post you want to delete. You can erase any post that you or anyone else posted directly to you profile page.

- You can't erase posts from other individuals in which you are tagged, but you can remove them from your page.

5. Tap ... It remains in the top-right corner of a post.

6. Tap Erase. You'll see this option near the bottom of the screen.
If you're eliminating your name from a tagged post, you'll instead tap Remove tag, then tap OK.

7. Tap Erase Post when prompted. Doing so will eliminate the post from your profile. Any likes, comments, or other media related to the post will also be eliminated.

Technique 3 Erasing a Post on Desktop

1. Go to the Facebook web page. It's situated at https://www.facebook.com/. If you're already logged into Facebook, doing so will open your News Feed.
- If you aren't logged into Facebook, first enter your email address (or phone number) into the top-right corner of the screen and click Log In.

2. Click your name tab. This option is to the right of the search bar at the top of the Facebook page.

- If you wish to delete a post you made on someone else's wall, you'll rather type their name into the search bar then click their name when it appears.

3. Find a post you want to delete. You may need to scroll down to find the post in question.

- You cannot delete posts from other individuals in which you are tagged, however you can eliminate them from your page.

4. Click ˅. You'll see this in the top-right corner of the post's section.

5. Click Delete. It's towards the bottom of the drop-down menu.
If you're removing your name from another person's post, click Get rid of Tag here, then click OK.

6. Click Delete Post when prompted. This will get rid of the post and any associated content from the page.
