1. Log into your Facebook fanpage account. To make brand-new status updates private, click the "Public" fall menu located on the status upgrade window. Select "Buddies" if you only desire good friends to see your brand-new status. If you don't want anyone to see your brand-new status update, choose "Customized" and "Only Me."

6. Look in the "How Tags Work" area, if you do not desire anybody to see posts or pictures you are tagged in. Click "Edit Settings." Select "Buddies" from the "Profile Exposure" drop down menu, if you only want pals to see your tags. If you do not desire anybody to see your tags, select "Custom" from the drop down menu. Select "Just Me."
7. Find the "Apps and Websites" area. Click "Edit Settings." Here you can make your app usage personal, block friends from importing your information into apps and prevent your fanpage from showing up in online search engine.
