1. Log into your Facebook fanpage account. To make new status updates private, click the "Public" drop down menu situated on the status update window. 5. Locate the "How You Connect" area. Click "Edit Settings." Change all the options to "Pals" just. Select "Just Me" if you do not want friends to post on your wall. Select "Just Me" if you do not desire pals to see what others post on your fanpage.

6. Search in the "How Tags Work" area, if you do not want anybody to see posts or pictures you are tagged in. Click "Edit Settings." Select "Pals" from the "Profile Presence" fall menu, if you just desire pals to see your tags. If you do not want anybody to see your tags, choose "Custom-made" from the fall menu. Select "Only Me."

7. Find the "Apps and Websites" section. Click "Edit Settings." Here you can make your app usage private, block friends from importing your details into apps and prevent your fanpage from appearing in online search engine.
