Edit Facebook Group Name
Thankfully the group name isn't because small category of long-term names, and it's not completely obvious how to alter it, but it can be done.

To start, go to your group page on Facebook but do not click "Edit Settings" because it ain't what you want. Rather look down the right side of the page. About a 3rd of the method down you'll see these options:.
Click "Edit Group" and you'll see a lot of various choices that you can customize, most importantly the group name:.
Let's focus a bit on that so you can see what it looks like:.
To alter your Facebook group name, simply click in the text box that has the current name and usage ERASE, arrows and much like change the name to one that's better suited. For this demonstration, I altered the group name from "Front Variety Blogger Meetup: The Facebook Group" to simply "Front Variety Blogger Meetup".
When you've set it appropriately, click "Conserve" at the bottom of the window and.
Done. Not too tough once you know where to click.
Confusingly, though, the page that includes the alert of the change being accepted still has the old name showed:.
No concerns. That's just a caching problem: click on "Back to Group" and we see the :.
Now we're done and it's validated.
I must point out that everyone in the group will see an update notification that the name has been changed, but I cannot imagine that's an issue:.
