Change Facebook Group Name
Thankfully the group name isn't because little category of permanent names, and it's not totally obvious the best ways to alter it, however it can be done.

To start, go to your group page on Facebook but do not click on "Edit Settings" since it ain't what you want. Instead look down the ideal side of the page. About a 3rd of the method down you'll see these alternatives:.
Click on "Edit Group" and you'll see a load of various alternatives that you can modify, most importantly the group name:.
Let's focus a bit on that so you can see exactly what it appears like:.
To change your Facebook group name, merely click in the text box that has the existing name and use DELETE, arrows and much like alter the name to one that's more appropriate. For this presentation, I changed the group name from "Front Variety Blogger Meetup: The Facebook Group" to simply "Front Variety Blogger Meetup".
When you've set it appropriately, click on "Conserve" at the bottom of the window and.
Done. Not too hard once you understand where to click.
Confusingly, though, the page that consists of the notification of the change being accepted still has the old name displayed:.
No worries. That's just a caching issue: click on "Back to Group" and we see the :.
Now we're done and it's validated.
I must discuss that everyone in the group will see an update notice that the name has been altered, however I cannot picture that's a problem:.
