How Do I Edit A Facebook Post
Using the Mobile App
1. Open Facebook. It's a blue app that contains a lowercase, white "f.".
2. Tap your profile picture. It remains in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. Scroll to a post. Scroll down to a post that you wish to modify.
- Posts remain in reverse-chronological order, with the most recent at the top of your Timeline.
- You can only modify your own posts.
4. Tap ∨. It's light gray, and you'll discover it in the upper-right corner of the post.
5. Tap Edit Post. Now you can change the text and add or delete pictures. You can also tag pals, add a sensation or activity that reflects what you're doing, or sign in to let people know where you were.
6. Tap Conserve. It remains in the upper-right corner. You've effectively made modifications to your post, and the edited variation is now on your Timeline.
Utilizing Facebook on the internet.
1. Go to Facebook. Enter your email and password if you're not instantly logged in.
2. Click on your user name. It remains in the blue bar at the top of the window, to the right of the search field.
3. Scroll to a post. Scroll down to a post that you 'd like to modify.
- Posts remain in reverse-chronological order, with the latest at the top of your Timeline.
- You can only edit your very own posts.
4. Click on ∨. It's light gray, and you'll find it in the upper-right corner of the post.
5. Click on Edit Post. Now you can alter the text and add or delete images.
- Using the icons in the bottom left of the dialog box, you can tag friends (silhouette with a "+"), add a feeling or activity that reflects exactly what you're doing (smiley face), or examine in to let individuals understand where you were (place pin).
6. Click on Save. It's in the lower-right corner of the dialog box. You've effectively made changes to your post, and the edited version is now on your Timeline.
