Technique 1 Erasing a Remark on Mobile
1. Open Facebook. It's a blue app with a white "f" on it. If you're signed into Facebook, the app will open to your News Feed.
- If you aren't already signed into Facebook, enter your e-mail address and password and tap Sign in.
2. Tap ☰. This option is in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).
- If you rather wish to erase a remark you left on somebody else's post, type that individual's name into the search bar at the top of the screen and then tap their name.
3. Tap your name. It must be at the top of the menu. Tapping it will take you to your profile page.
- Skip this action if you're browsing to somebody else's post.
4. Discover a comment you wish to delete. You might have to scroll down to do so.
5. Open the remark. On posts where there is simply one remark, you can do this by tapping the remark below the post; otherwise, you'll tap the [Number] remarks connect below the post and then tap the comment.
- On Android, you'll tap and hold the remark you wish to erase.
6. Tap Delete. It's near the bottom of the screen.
- You can not erase other individuals's comments if they weren't made on your content, however you can tap Hide to avoid yourself from seeing them.
7. Tap Delete when prompted. Doing so will eliminate the remark in question from the post.
Technique 2 Deleting a Post on Mobile
1. Open Facebook. This app is dark-blue with a white "f" on it. If you're signed into Facebook, the app will open to your News Feed.
- If you aren't currently signed into Facebook, enter your email address and password and tap Sign in.

- If you desire to remove a post you made on somebody else's page, rather type their name into the search bar at the top of the screen and then tap their name.
3. Tap your name. This alternative is at the top of the menu. Tapping it will take you to your profile page.
4. Scroll down to a post you want to erase. You can erase any post that you or anyone else posted straight to you profile page.
- You can't erase posts from other people in which you are tagged, but you can remove them from your page.
5. Tap ... It's in the top-right corner of a post.
6. Tap Delete. You'll see this alternative near the bottom of the screen.
If you're eliminating your name from a tagged post, you'll rather tap Get rid of tag, then tap OK.
7. Tap Delete Post when prompted. Doing so will get rid of the post from your profile. Any likes, comments, or other media related to the post will also be removed.
Technique 3 Erasing a Post on Desktop
1. Go to the Facebook webpage. It lies at https://www.facebook.com/. If you're already logged into Facebook, doing so will open your News Feed.
- If you aren't logged into Facebook, first enter your e-mail address (or telephone number) into the top-right corner of the screen and click Log In.
2. Click your name tab. This choice is to the right of the search bar at the top of the Facebook page.
- If you wish to delete a post you made on somebody else's wall, you'll rather type their name into the search bar then click their name when it appears.
3. Locate a post you want to erase. You might need to scroll down to discover the post in concern.
- You cannot erase posts from other individuals in which you are tagged, but you can eliminate them from your page.
4. Click ˅. You'll see this in the top-right corner of the post's area.
5. Click Delete. It's toward the bottom of the drop-down menu.
