Using Your Web browser
Navigate to Facebook using your gadget's internet browser, then locate a picture that you wish to download. Tap the "View Complete Size" button beneath the image to open it in a brand-new browser menu, press the "Menu" button on your device and select "Conserve File As" to save the image to your gallery. If you are using a gadget running KitKat, you might also long tap on the image, then choose "Conserve File As."
Using the Facebook App
Photos can also be accessed through the Facebook app. An image can be conserved by tapping the photo to view it completely screen mode, pressing the "Menu" button, which is shaped like three vertical dots, and picking "Save Photo."

Unlike iOS, you just cannot tap, hold and select Save Image from a pop up. 1. Launch the Facebook app.
2. Go to the image you would like to have actually saved to your iPhone.
3. Press and hold the House button then rapidly press the Sleep/Wake button. (Yes, you're taking a screenshot!).
4. Now, go to your Camera Roll and you will find the image that you simply conserved.
Why this function was not
constructed into the app initially, I am unsure, but this is a quick and easy way to get all the images you want off of the Facebook app.
