Delete Facebook Messages
To erase specific messages, you have to open each message first. Do this by clicking the Actions button and select Delete Messages.
You will see all your messages with this friend, with checkboxes on the side of each message. Select the messages you wish to erase by 'inspecting' package next to the message, or simply click the Delete all button.

To take control of your Facebook messages, go to the Facebook Fast Erase Messages extension page with your Chrome internet browser and click the Add to Chrome button to install.
When installed, the extension is activated immediately. Now to erase your Facebook messages with only one click without needing to open the individual discussion pages open your Facebook Message page. You will see 2 extra buttons, one on top bar and another highlighted in red. Click these buttons to completely erase your messages and conversations.
Ways To Delete Personal Messages on Facebook.
Action 1. Go to the Facebook homepage and click on the "Messages" tab in the left column of the screen. Alternatively, click the "Messages" icon in the upper left-hand corner of any Facebook screen-- the icon is the image of 2 square chat bubbles.
Action 2. Find the the message you desire to delete. Messages are noted in chronological order, with the newest message at the top. Use the right-facing arrow at the top of the screen to navigate to pages with older messages.
Action 3. Examine package instantly to the left of a message.
Action 4. Select the "Erase" icon in the "Messages" toolbar, located just above the message list.
